Daniel Briggs, winner of the 2006 Rotary Award entered the BA Crest Regionals in June shortly after his win. Daniel won the North West contest with his cooler design and was invited to the National finals in February 2007. We are proud to announce that Daniel won first prize in his category and a Silver Crest trophy. This win means that the department received £1500 in cash to spend on equipment. We have been able to update our PCB manufacturing equipment and have a CNC Lathe refurbished. We would all like to thank Daniel for his hard work for the department.
