Welcome to Catacombite.co.uk (version 4). It's been 7 years since I launched "The Catacombite" on Geocities, using Yahoo! Pagebuilder. Since then, I've basically built my website on the core basis of my friend's profiles, and a collection of photos.

So far, I have over 2000 photos on this site, spanning 10 years of my life in the usual place, the bios of my friends are slightly out of date clocking in at 2006, the two Knightmare games are still playable and a small video collection.

NOVEMBER 2008

This last week has been an utter nightmare! On top of the usual 6 hours of teaching I was given, I also had to invigilate 2 tests, and mark them.
The first test was easy to mark - it took 2 hours, it was all multiple choice... but there were three versions of the test, and the students weren't told this, so anybody who copied the guy sat next to him had a 2/3 probability that the test was slightly different and would either a) realise that copying is futile, or b) copy anyway and get the answers completely wrong. We caught a few copiers (!) Serves you damn right!

The second lot of marking though.... ouch. That took me 9 hours, I was in the office until midnight last night, got to bed around 1.30am, got up at 7 and was back in marking at 8.30am. On top of that, I've had to organise the seminar, and teach a class today. But I stayed back a bit and finished off the marking, so I'm now done.
I've decided to only do fun things tomorrow, and not look at maths again until Sunday... which I have to seeing as I'm taking the reading group on Tuesday and I haven't even looked at the notes because of how much I've been doing. However, it does get me out of going to the pub on Monday.

I would like to go to the comedy club on Tuesday evening, I've been invited out to see a film at some point next week... probably Wednesday. Then I've decided to join the Yoga class on Thursday. Then Friday is Friday.

Must remember to get time sheets done for that Friday... otherwise I won't get paid before Christmas.

Other than that, I'm fine. Soldiering on, as they say.
