Introduction
After Eight Gowns is
located in the Earlsdon area of Coventry, and has
been selling and hiring high quality ladies evening
wear for over 12 years. We now have over 300 gowns
in stock ready for sale or hire. To maintain
individuality, we do not carry every size and
colour of each gown. On this website we can only
show a selection of our gowns and, by popular
request, we have added the purchase price of these
example gowns to give you an idea of our price
ranges. Please note that we do not buy or sell
secondhand gowns.
Our shop is child and doggie friendly with books
and toys for young children!
We are renowned for our friendly and helpful
service with no pressure to hire or buy.
Opening
Times
- The shop is normally open from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
- On Mondays we are open from 10:00am to 2:00pm and between 6:00pm and 7:00pm in the evening
- Thursdays we are open between 6:00pm and 7:00pm in the evening only
- Appointments are not required
Sizes
- Normally we keep gowns in sizes 6 to 22 in stock
- However, larger sizes may be available by special order (depending upon style)
Prices
- Our gowns are priced for sale from £45 to £350
- Hire prices range from £50 to £95
- A returnable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking
- Student discount of up to £15 is offered on gown hire
- Additionally, we have a Permanent Sale Rail containing new and ex-hire gowns from £20
Payment
- After Eight regret that we are unable to take credit or debit cards
- Payment is by Cash or Cheque only
- We do not offer web sales
