CARPET FITTING
 

To ensure that your new carpet looks it's best in your home we recommend that you use one of our professional carpet fitters who have many years of experience.  Our fitters can deal with the most intricate carpet & vinyl fitting situations and are experienced in dealing with many different situations including matching design repeats.

 

We also recommend that you have our fitters use a quality underlay.

 

Different situations can dictate different fixing methods for installations for example gripper rods, tackless fitting, tacked down and stick down.  Our fitters carry ample supplies of materials in their vehicles to cover most situations so you can be assured that they can provide a quick & efficient fitting service with no additional hidden costs.

 

For the most part we use our own employees to service our customers needs.  We do though sub contract some installation work to self employed fitters.  These sub contractors are well known to us and the standard of their work is scrutinised by our fitting manager to ensure that they uphold our required standard of workmanship. 

 

Our fitters can take up and dispose of your old floor covering but this should be prior arranged with our sales staff.  An additional nominal fee is charged to cover the cost of this commercial waste disposal.

Fitting under white goods in kitchens etc. also needs to be prearranged to ensure that we send the necessary manpower to lift fridge freezers or washing machines etc.

 

Sometimes the bottom edge of a door may need to be trimmed to allow the door to accommodate a carpet where one had not previously been fitted.  Doors can be removed and trimmed @ £10 per door.
