Ladies Interests
Ladies BreakfastsLadies Breakfasts are run about 4 times a year for fellowship and relaxation. It is a non threatening and welcoming environment to which to invite your friends and we serve a continental buffet with every type of bread, cereal and fruit served in an elegant style. Fresh coffee and juice accompanies the meal and all this is funded by donations given on the morning. We generally have between 50 - 60 ladies attending, from every walk of life and covering every age group. The kitchen help is most professional having attended the kitchen hygiene course, is always dressed for the occasion and stays in the kitchen as he is the token male - thank you very much Steve! During the meal we have an invited speaker covering topics as diverse as napkin folding and Christmas flower arrangements to outreach trips to Uganda and Liberia. We do not hold these Breakfasts on a regular basis, so watch this space and the church newssheet for the next date. You will be very welcome. Mum's God Space!A New Venture - An opportunity for mothers of
young children to get together to share concerns about the real issues
of life rather than the routine matters of daily existence, important
though they be. At the church, entirely informal and children are
