Washing
Washing and cleaning, to remove dust/dirt and any static charges.
Although a record may look clean,  it’s almost certain that there is dust in the grooves, and/or coffee or similar on the surface.
Only wet cleaning will remove this.

Filtering
A high pass filter is used to remove any low frequency noise (original recorded rumble etc), followed
by a very light crackle and pop removal filter.
This removes some of the surface noise, without noticeably affecting the frequency response of the original recording.
Note that this will not remove scratches across the surface of the disc - this requires additional processing.

Track splitting
Track markers are inserted at the start of tracks, but the gaps between tracks are left as on the original disc so that the
CD plays with the same timing as the original LP.
If requested, the tracks can have the standard CD 2 second gap inserted instead.

Transfer to CD
A single copy of the CD is supplied, with track listing and other information (including the date of transfer and owner’s name) printed directly onto the CD.
For 45s and 78s, as many as possible will be fitted on a CD, unless requested otherwise.

The price will be adjusted to reflect this, since it depends on the cost of the CDs and printing.

Quality
The quality of the CD will largely depend on the physical condition of the original disc.
Any previous playing with a worn or damaged stylus cannot be repaired - I can't repair physical groove damage.
