The Ethereal Class Frigate has an extremely advanced type of Holofield, far superior to the standard Holofield fitted on other Eldar craft. It is almost impossible to hit as the field breaks the Ethereals image and scatters it's energy emissions over a far wider area. However this protection comes at a price, the power demands of the Ethereal field means it can not carry much in the way of weaponry.

Special Rules:

Ethereal Holofield
The Ethereal's Holofield is far more powerfull than that found on other Eldar craft. Breaking the Ethereals image and scattering it's energy emissions over a far wider area. Weapon Batteries firing at an Ethereal use the Ordnance column, against all other attacks it works as a normal Holofield (2+ save).

Targeting Ethereals
Because of the immense image and energy signature distortion, if the nearest target are Ethereals, the firing ship may choose to shoot at the next nearest target without making a Leadership test.
