The Lux Imperatoris (The Emperor's Light) heavy Battle Cruiser was designed with one goal in mind, the destruction of the biggest enemy capital ships. It's main weapon system is an immense twin bombard cannon, capable of crippling almost any ship with a single salvo. However this power comes at a price, because of the massive weapon systems being mounted on a frame not much bigger than an Imperial Cruiser, it is not the most agile ship and without support can be quickly swamped by enemy escorts.
These monstrous ships were incredibly expensive to construct and only 4 were built before the Istvaal shipyards were destroyed by Chaos Raiders.
