Parking: There is difficulty in finding on-street parking near the Museum but there is usually space in the Castle Street car parks. Both Taunton Deane Borough Council and the Museum of Somerset are aware of the parking problem for people with disability: one disabled car parking space is available near the Museum and can be booked via the Museum of Somerset (telephone 01823 255088). It is always possible to enter Castle Green to set down passengers immediately outside the Museum, but you cannot to park there.

Tour to include the manor, gatehouse, gazebo, grounds and church. Return to the manor for tea including homemade sandwiches, cakes, hot honey & mustard sausages and mince pies, followed by carols around the Christmas tree. Price: £13.50
