Somerset Rural Music School
SRMS was founded in 1974 by its current Director, Brian Cresswell. It aims to provide a relaxed, informal and caring setting in which a large range of instrumental lessons can take place. These are supported by Aural, Theory and Ensemble sessions. There are also other enriching activities in recorder, drama, folk dancing and art, all happening on Saturday mornings during term-time at Heathfield Community School from 9.30 – midday, by kind permission of the Headmaster and Governors.
