Heathfield's annual Christmas Concert featuring 4 choirs with a total of 300 singers.
Together with choirs from two local primary schools and a full orchestra they will lead the audience in a wide variety of Christmas music with readings from "A Christams Carol" by Charles Dickens. Tickets available from December 1st. |

Peace Child 2010
Heathfield Community School's four choirs and full orchestra join forces with choirs from Ruishton, Stoke St. Gregory, Burrowbridge and Creech St. Michael Primary schools to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the opening of the Tachhi-Morris Arts Centre.
Anyone who was involved in the Peace Child 2000 event or in the 1990 Peace Child International show is invited to take part in the choir or orchestra for these two concerts. Contact Julian Breeze at the school on 01823 414146 for more details.

Heathfield Community School is an 11-16 comprehensive school on the outskirts of Taunton. Heathfield has “performing arts” specialist status and shares a site with the “Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre” where many lessons and performances take place. Performances at the Arts Centre include school concerts, drama productions and dance festivals as well as performances by local community groups and professional companies. The music department runs three student choirs, a community choir, two wind bands, an orchestra and many other instrumental groups.
The school has been designated a “Centre of Excellence for Music” by Ofsted.
