Spring Concert

This is a mixed voice adult choir of about 45 singers. Formed in 1945 by Arthur Temple, then Director of Music at Taunton School, we have just celebrated our diamond Jubilee.

Our repertoire is very varied and in recent years has ranged from 13th century ‘Summer is icomen in’ to late 20th century works such as Malcolm Archer’s ‘Requiem’ and Andrew Carter’s ‘Musick’s Jubilee’.

We rehearse weekly on Monday evenings in Taunton School for two terms of 12-13 weeks for concerts in April and December, usually in one of the larger Taunton churches.
