The Apostles' Creed

"I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell.

"The third day he rose again from the dead, he ascended into Heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

"I believe in
the Holy Ghost;
the Holy Catholic Church;
the Communion of Saints;
the Forgiveness of Sins;
the Resurrection of the Body;
and the Life Everlasting."

Amen.

People of all ages are welcome to join us for worship at 10.30am on Sunday mornings. Our Sunday School and Creche normally meet while the service is in progress. During the months of July and August a short early service also takes place at 9.30am.

Special services often take place at festival times, such as Christmas and Easter. On many such occasions our services take the form of All Age Worship, when children and young people are involved throughout.

South Holburn has a choir which meets for practice on Sunday mornings at 9.45am. The choir helps to lead the hymn-singing and occasionally sings an introit or anthem. New choir members are always welcome.

Holy Communion is celebrated on Easter Sunday and also on the last Sundays of January, June and October.
