MORRIS RICHARD DEMPSEY - NICKY  JACK CHISSICK - FRANK BOB GOODY - DANNY Michael French as Jeff Slade & Chloe Annett as Holly Turner PROGRAMME OUTLINE: Holly Turner,played by Chloe Annett(Red Dwarf) is a forensic scientist working for the Metropolitan Police.In her spare time she works in her apartment perfecting a time machine invented by her late father.Her partner is Jeff Slade,played by Michael French(Eastenders),who is sceptical about the concept of time travel...until Holly proves the machine works. He persuades her to use the machine to go back in time to gain evidence to solve crimes that they wouldnt have been able to get,but they have to be careful not to be seen in two places at once. The machine will only go back a few hours,maybe half a day,but enough so they can do their snooping around. They take a detatchable wristwatch from the machine which counts down to the time when they must return to the machine,and they have to be there otherwise they will get trapped in the loop of infinity,living the same bit of time over and over.This is what happened to Holly's father,and she has not seen him since. Their boss,Kate Grisham, was played well by Sue Johnston(Brookside,The Royle Family) This was a pretty good series,with well written Back to the Future-ish type storylines,but unfortunately the BBC didn't see fit to make second series due to poor ratings,so the show was cancelled after only one season of eight episodes.I thought this wasn't really enough time for the show to develop,and could have done with another series   EPISODES : 1.
