Meridian Law Limited

GD Consultants has produced the initial documentation set for the Meridian Law software suite. Meridian Law is a diary-based system that allows clerks to manage case and diary bookings for barristers at busy courts.

The documentation set consists of a Getting Started Guide and an on-screen help system. Greg Daffern designed a layout for the Guide, and wrote the original draft. He also generated the on-screen help, which was written in Winhelp to avoid browser issues.

Greg then trained Meridian staff to use the help authoring tool, and handed over control of the project. This allowed Meridian Law to use their in-depth expertise to add the final detail to the help.

We are also liaising with Meridian Law to provide training in Microsoft Office their clients. When agreed, it is anticipated that this training will give clerks the expertise they need to use effectively the interface between Meridian Law and the Office suite.
