the DailyText installation program. Menu Items
The menu toolbar can be used to set program options.
Alternatively settings can be directly
accessed by the shortcut keys, these are also displayed on the menu
items:-

File Menu

The menu will allow you to either
Print the Dailytext and comments
for the day to your printer, and Exit
the program.
The Data Files
select the system files which the program uses, the
Sound File is the sound which can
be played when the program starts, if a sound is played or not is
set from the Startup menu.
The Source Text is
the most important file as it is where the program gets the
Dailytext and comments data.
Clicking on the menu displayed above will open a file
selection window as below, just click to select the data file.

Edit Menu
From the Edit menu the current DailyText and comments can be
copied to the Windows clipboard. A confirmation box will be
displayed.

Display menu

The display menu allows you to customise the Dailytext display.
Clicking the Font menu will display a selection box which will
allow the display font of the Dailytext and comments to be modified.

The Colour menu allows the setting of the colour of either the
Background or Border colours.

Pressing the Reset Defaults will reset the display settings to
their default values.
Start-up menu

With this menu the program startup options, a tick mark indicates
that a item is selected.
- Load With Windows will start the Dailytext program each time
the computer is switched on.
- Play Sound determines if a sound is played when the program
starts, the file played is set in the File menu.
- Error checking will not be used by most users and it is
advisable to keep it selected. Unchecking this item disables the
data checking when the program starts, this can cause errors in
the display data.
Help Menu
This help
file can also be accessed from here, also pressing F1 at anytime will
also do this.
Displays
the About information, links to
the website and email, and the
program version information.

Pressing the Update button
brings up the Live Update wizard, this will automatically update
the program if a newer version is available.
