25th February 2005.  Spring is just around the corner!

So far this winter, we've only had two brief spells of snow, otherwise it's been mud, mud and more mud!  How much nicer everything looks under a pristine white blanket...

Of course snow is an invitation to take photos of the dogs running, rolling, jumping for joy... But however much I would have liked to take photos of them playing, they were mostly far too interested in posing for the camera!  We may get some more snow next week, so I shall make sure my camera is ready...

Meanwhile here are some of those I did manage - just click on the thumbnail if you'd like to see a bigger picture.

What shall we do first?

"Ready to rumble!"

L-R Gemma & Roxie

"Isn't your tummy cold?"

L-R Gemma & Maggie

"Go on, have a roll, I won't look"

L-R Maggie & Toby

"Is that Toby rolling?"

L-R Roxie & Maggie

Toby

"Aah... I've waited

all year for this!"

"NO, that wasn't

me rolling!"

"I'm far too

mature for that"

"I'll just pose nicely

for the camera instead!"

Roxie

"What shall I do first?"

"This is going to be fun... "

"Wheeeeee"

"Time for a rest!"

Gemma

"Hang on, I'm thinking..."

"Have you done

with that camera yet..."

"Because I'm going for a paddle"

"I did enjoy that.

Can I go again?"

Maggie

"No fair, I want to run too"

(Maggie has a suspected

partial crutiate rupture)

"Huh!  I'll just have to lie here

and wait for the others... sniff"

"Maybe I'll pose

for the camera instead"

"Aah!  I forgot to

comb my hair"

Let's Run!

"Race you to the gate - Maggie! Don't run!"

Left - Right: Maggie, Toby & Gemma

"Cum'on! Last one in's a cissy!"

Top - Bottom: Maggie, Gemma & Roxie

Après la Piste - To Sleep, perchance to dream...

"We love snow, but it doesn't half make you tired.  Can we do it again tomorrow?  Snore... Snore..."
