Prior to moving to the new
church of St Bede there were 7 Sunday Masses spread throughout
the Holy Ghost Parish that were served by 6 musical liturgy groups
on a weekly basis and a Filipino choir on a bi-monthly basis. However, on
moving to St. Bede's, the number of Sunday
Masses were reduced to 3 and the musical liturgy groups consolidated
into the following 5 music departments whose names reflected either their style of music
and/or origins: Basing (Piano and Guitar), Cantorg, Choir, Filipino and Popley. All 3 Sunday Masses at the church of St. Bede are now
served by
these 5 music departments on a rotational basis as shown in the schedule
below.
