St. Bede

Alleluia!
Praise the Lord, my soul!

Music Schedule

Prior to moving to the new church of St Bede there were 7 Sunday Masses spread throughout the Holy Ghost Parish that were served by 6 musical liturgy groups on a weekly basis and a Filipino choir on a bi-monthly basis. However, on moving to St. Bede's, the number of Sunday Masses were reduced to 3 and the musical liturgy groups consolidated into 5 music departments whose names reflected either their style of music and/or origins (i.e. "Basing", "Cantorg", "Choir", "Filipino" and "Popley"). All 3 Sunday Masses at the church of St. Bede are now served by these 5 music departments on a rotational basis as follows:

Notes:

  1. For the duration of the 2009/2010 First Holy Communion (FHC) program, certain Sunday Masses are focused more towards the FHC children and their families. For these Masses, the Psalm and Second Reading are omitted, and the music takes account of the FHC children and the themes they have been studying.

  2. The FHC Masses are on 16th May 2010.
