The installation program includes all the Windows
components necessary to run the scoring application. In order to install
successfully on Windows NT/2000/XP/VISTA/Windows 7, the user must have
administrative privileges. Otherwise, an "Access
Denied" error message will be displayed during the installation.
When you click on the hyperlink for the program you
wish to download, your browser may offer you the choices:
Run (or
Open), Save or Cancel
When offered these choices, select Run (or Open) this program from its current location.
You may also get a warning: “The publisher
could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?”
Select Run and then follow the
instructions in the Setup Wizard (including setting a desktop icon).
The installation folder may be specified
or may be defaulted to c:\<Folder> where
<Folder> is the program name.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR
Do not download to C:\program files (selectable during
installation) in
To run the program, just Double
Click the appropriate desktop icon (or select the program from the Start menu).
Installation of BridgeMate Firmware
To utilise Bridgemate scoring you must download the Bridgemate Pro
Control Firmware from http://www.bridgemate.com/
The Control Firmware must be installed in the folder c:\Program
Files\Bridgemate Pro\BMPRO.exe
Download for Electronic Masterpoints
To properly utilise electronic Masterpoint reporting to the EBU, you
should run the Download EBU Nos command on the Scorers Membership screen every
month or so to keep the EBU Membership numbers up to date in your installation
folder.
