Ernest Bullimore, a Newark resident, has written up the early reminiscences of his brother Arthur's early life in Spital Row, Newark. Arthur lived there from his birth in 1925 until the family moved ten years later, when the cottages of Spital Row were demolished to make room for a new railway bridge (Lincoln Road Bridge). The author has kindly allowed me to put his work on this site for others to share.

Daivid Dixon has written up some details of his ancestors' business activities and family links and has kindly allowed me to share it on this linked page.

A fair (and steadily increasing) amount of information about Newark and its history can be found on the Newark Advertiser (local newspaper) site.
