Who be you then?
My name is John Boileau, currently 25 and residing in the Midlands, UK.

What is this website all about?
Upon turning 25 in January 2006 I decided that it would be a good idea to make a list of all the things I kept saying that I wasgoing to do but never got round to. I made a pledge to get them done by the time I was 30. This 'task list' numbered 77 and one of the list was to create a website, hence beforethirty.co.uk

So you were unhappy in life?
No, no at all. I have a job I enjoy, an Em Led I love, lots of nice friends, a nice house and a nice car (I'm not in to cars: it's a Peugeot 206, but I think it is nice). But sometimes when you get all these things in life you settle in to a happy routine and are maybe too much in your comfort zone. I decided a list of things to do would keep my attention focused.

I've had a look at your list. Some of your tasks just seem...stupid.
That is technically not a question. The list is completely personal and simply represents all of those things where I kept saying "I've never done that before, I should get around to it". Some tasks are slightly more profound and major, such as living abroud for a year, but I genuinely had never had a filet o fish and had always meant to, so it had to go on the list.

Why don't you walk the Great Wall of China? Or swim with Dolphins?
Because I don't want to.

This website looks like shite. Are you a crap webdesigner?
I am to webdesign what Robbie Williams is to writing good songs. This site is to record content about my tasks, nothing else. I therefore figured that text, photos and prose were all that were needed.

But there are spelling mistakes and gramatical errors?
Yes, my spelling and grammar are awful and the 1995 edition of Front Page Express I use to build this page doesn't have a spell check and I can't be bother to export everything to Word to check it. Even this 'question' isn't a question, it's a comment and therefore should not have a question mark. Again, bad grammar.

How come the website is www.beforethirty.co.uk but all the pages are on some weird 'nildram' url?
When more than 5 people a day started visiting the site it fell over. So my nice friend Kristian moved it to his free server. I should move it back to the correct place but up to now I haven't been arsed.

What's all the charity business?
When numerous people started visting the site I decided to ask them to give to charity, for no real reason. And people did. Amazing huh?

Very amazing. Can I give money?
Yeah, just go to my
Justgiving Page and you can donate to Breast Cancer Care

Hang on, I'm giving money and you're doing nothing?
I'm doing the
London Marathon in April 2007 for Breast Cancer Care so you can be safe in the knowledge that I will have pain and suffering at some point.

I'm still not sure I want to give money for no reason.
Just give it a whirl, it will give you a warm glow and put a smile on your face.

What's an 'Em Led'?
Em Led is my fiancee Emma, who often joins me on my tasks.

Can I join you on a task?
Sure, just
e-mail me.

I've read all of this faq and I'm still not sure that I see a point to your website.
No, me neither.

I'm still going to waste an hour of my work's time reading your list though. How do I find it?
Good on you. Just go
