Birds of
the Porter Brook
There
are many birds around the Porter Brook. This list is not exhaustive and only contains
birds that I personally have spotted and photographed in the vicinity of the
Brook.
This
is an all-age web site, so although many of these birds may not be very
exciting to serious spotters, they are included here. Besides, some of these
are easier to photograph than dippers…

Ps. I have taken a decision on
quality grounds that if I have a good picture 0f a bird, I will include it with
a copyright notice detailing the year in which the photo was shot. I also
include photographs of birds the quality of which are dubious to say the least…
the plan is to replace these shots with better ones of that species of bird as
I go. (This also applies to the pages on individual birds.) Feel free to copy
the un-annotated pictures, and although it would be nice if you referenced me
and pointed your friends, family, colleagues, and people in the street to my
site, I don’t mind what you do with these pictures. If you like the copyrighted
shots and would like to use them, feel free to e-mail
me and offer me money or a job or both.
