Gairdner Trophy
The magnificent silver plated curling stone trophy was unfortunately stolen some years ago.
Unfortunately due to the incoming US men’s tour the date of the match had to be re-arranged from the 3rd February to the 27th January. This caused a clash of dates for Riccarton CC who were unable to join Kilmarnock Townend. However Dundonald CC came to the rescue by providing 6 rinks for the 4 TPCC and 2 KTCC to play.
TPCC did better this year with both Hatty’s and Bert's rinks recording victories over strong Dundonald opposition. Dundonald CC were the winners again this year with Jim Young’s rink the overall winner with the highest up score.
