(Admission free and open to all members of the public. Doors open 7pm. Bees are constantly in the news at the moment due to the colony collapse of Honeybees. However, the oft-told story of the Honeybee is just one story amongst many about this very diverse group of insects. This talk will cover topics such as the life-cycles, ecosystem service provision, conservation, and diversity of bees. It will answer questions such as: What is the difference between a bee and a wasp? and What can I do to encourage bees?) |
