Rugby FoE is a Friends of the Earth local group. This means that we act independently of national Friends of the Earth, but with substantial support from them. We campaign on local environmental issues as well as taking part in nationally organised events and campaigns.

Current local environmental issues include the plans for Windfarms nearby. Global climate change is the single biggest environmental threat facing the planet and so Friends of the Earth campaigns to promote green energy and oppose nuclear power.

Local campaigns have included the Anti-Airport Campaign to highlight the impact Transport has on the environment, such as by airport expansion.
