Bookings and Arrival Arrangements
When you make a booking, I need your home address, your home telephone number, and your mobile phone number, along with a deposit of £20.00. On receipt of these items I will confirm your booking by email (or telephone, whichever is appropriate). Should you be booking from abroad, then instead of a deposit I ask for a telephone call to confirm your stay at least 48 hrs before you are due to arrive or I reserve the right to let the rooms to others.
Please aim to arrive on the first day of your stay between 1700hrs and 1800hrs and I will be available to greet you and do the breakfast menu for the next day. If you cannot make this time, please contact me to make an alternative mutually convenient arrangement. I also have detailed directions for reaching us by road from any direction which can be sent via email should you wish them.
Rules of the house
If you have with you soft house shoes or slippers, I would be very grateful if you could change into them in the vestibule and leave outdoor shoes under the coats, for the sake of my Scandinavian pale wood flooring.
Pets:
Outside kennel accommodation is available, however pets are not allowed into guests' rooms (in case future guests are allergic to dog hair, or are asthmatic etc.).

Dinner
Dinner is not normally provided - generally, guests are respectfully asked to eat out at one of the plentiful and good restaurants in the locality.
However, in rare circumstances, especially for walkers, I could do a light supper (of two courses, plus tea/coffee). This meal is only available subject to my evening activities and would cost around £10-£15 per person. In this case, the menu must be discussed and booked at least 48 hours in advance. Children's meals would also be available, at approximately £5 per child. Again, these are two courses: baked potato with cheese, or baked beans on toast, or scrambled eggs and bacon, etc., followed by jelly, ice cream, etc., with orange juice or milk to drink.

Stabling Stabling for horses can be arranged next door with Lucy Bailey, my daughter, at Khalsbanna Stables - fees and arrangements can be discussed with Lucy at the time of booking.
