Based on the photographic survey carried out on 24th April 2004, the following actions should be taken as soon as is practicably possible.
If carried out, these would vastly augment facilities at a relatively minor cost, without significantly altering or interrupting existing usage, and provide a major step towards the best future solution for the Village Community Centre development.
Urgent maintenance and repairs required to make the building wind, watertight, and stabilise its deteriorating condition
1. Clean and repair gutters rones and drains
2. Overhaul slates, flashings, valley, and atrium glass lantern
3. Repair leaking, rotten or broken windows
BASIC ACTIONS REQUIRED FOR REINSTATEMENT OF DISUSED UPPER FLOOR AREAS
1. Repair dry rot in old staff room floor
2. Repair or replace window sashes and frames
3. Re-instate and finish 2nd fix joinery and plasterwork
4. Install services ie. Heating and electrics
5. Extensive décor. of reinstated space
All above points have been kept broad for simplicity
