James Byrne Coleman(1862-1915) was a consultant surgeon at the Royal Richmond Hospital, Dublin. At his own expense he fitted out a field hospital and took it out to the Boer War, for which he was given the CMG.

My father's stepfather, Albert Moloney, also fought in the War, with the Canadians

My Grgr.uncle Edward Kelly was also in the War, see photo at end of ancestor page. The Black Sheep, the poor man was banished to Australia by the family, having had an affair with an actress and turned to drink.
