This was found amongst the possesions of my father's stepfather, Albert C Moloney. At the time of the Boer War he was prospecting for gold in Canada. We had thought that he joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, but it is possible that it was the Royal canadian Mounted Rifles. The other press cutting we have is from a Calgary newspaper chronicling the voyage out to South Africa.
