1881 census is at 2 Platt Street (next to Chenies Place)a cab proprietor employing 2men and 2 boys living with wife Mary A (Connolly) and son JohnFred and dau Mary T, and sister Margaret M., and Samuel Connolly a boarder with them.
1891 census John Burge was cab proprietor living 2 Platt Street with son Fred J, brother George A Burge (a coachbuilder) and sister in law Mary J (born stockport cheshire).
1901 census John Burge was with Mary E Mead and children John, Teresa, Bernard, at 55 Tufnell Pk Rd Islington
So:
John Burge the cab proprietor married Mary Connolly, then 2nd Mary E Mead.
Margaret Burge, Johns' sister, married John Mead the Street Inspector,Marys' brother.
John also had a brother, George A Burge the Coachbuilder, who married Mary J of Cheshire and had a daughter named Gertrude.
Then by 1901 John Burges' sister Margaret, and her husband, and his brother George with his daughter, had all moved into the house at 3 Chenies Place that had been lived in by Thomas Connolly and familly.
All very confusing
