Celia Marie Myburgh, left Cape Town when 9yrs old. Her father, Philip Ryk Herbert Myburgh died in a mining accident when she was 11. He married age 23 Marjorie Henderson 20th October 1919.Ryk´s father was Ryk Hendrick Myburgh, Resident Magistrate and Civil Commisioner Bulawayo, travelled to Rhodesia with Cecil Rhodes, President of the Jockey Club Cape Town. Had two more sons who were killed in WW1(?). Married Blanche Gray. He died in 1955 age 96. His father was Philip A. Myburgh from Elsenburgh, had a brother Frank William prominant in the wine business KWV
