Welcome to the
Notts Gymnastics Club based at the East
Midlands Gymnastics and Sports Acrobatics Centre at Rushcliffe Leisure
Centre in Nottingham. It caters for Women's Artistic Gymnastics for girls
aged 5-6 upwards. |
|
 |
In April 1997, advanced gymnasts from Notts Bigwood and Rushcliffe Gym Clubs
shared the newly built East Midlands Gymnastic Centre facility at Rushcliffe
Leisure Centre in West Bridgford, Nottingham. They decided to join
forces under the leadership of Head Coach Claire
Starkey. Since 1 April 1998, a new club, Notts Gymnastics Club, has
been affiliated to the governing body BGA. Their gymnasts have
competed at county, regional, national and international competitions.
The club is run by a team of dedicated coaches and parents, who all put in
many hours of voluntary work to make the club a success.
