The Authors Inspiration for
Bravo, Persevere!
The
Inspiration for the Book
The inspiration for the book commenced when, the then 4 year old,
Elliott Cowell’s mother brought the aeroplane addicted youngster around
to Robert's home to play ’planes, with a ‘real Pilot’. When it was suggested
that he wrote a story about some of the exploits they got up in their ‘virtual’
aeroplane in the back garden no one realized then where it would lead to.
The book, which was launched in England in August last year, has been very
successful with nearly 3000 copies having been sold there.
The Successful Start Continues....
'Bravo, Persevere!' has been extremely well received amongst the
British aviation community and now Robert is producing a small range of
merchandise with the ‘Persey’ logo on for the
young (and not so young!) aviator. Currently Robert Spencer is assisting
AOPA UK to produce a series of Educational
WEB Pages which will provide an educational focal point to help with
the UK General Aviation Awareness Council
where Persey and his Pilot Joe, are be educating the younger generations
of future flyers through these pages.
