Chalabre is a very special place. Apart from its history, its people are very friendly and welcoming. It has a population of about 1300, but because it is the centre for the outlying communities of the Quercorb, it has a full range of shops & services....literally, two of everything, including two Tourist Offices!! It is only a 12-15 minutes stroll from Le Bourdil alongside the river down to this beautiful village (or is it a town?). |
