where on earth can I start? The place (naturewise) looks alive all year round, even in the middle of winter. Actually it looks it's best then because of the rain. The wildlife is great - parrots, possums, echidnas, pelicans, koalas, lizards etc all in the backyard of flying through. The people are great, happy and funny. You get a really good wage with low living costs. It's sunny and warm 9 months of the year (well ok some of them are still a little hot for me). |

absolutely nothing.... oh wait.... my friends haven't been to visit yet due to the distance. Oh and there are 20 different species of venimous snakes in SA as well as the Blue Ringed Octopus and White Pointers in the local seas... and say nothing of the humungus spiders they have here (the biggest I've had in my house was 6" diamter).....but ignore all that and the place is exceptional **GRIN** |

I've lived and worked in Australia since 1993 but in mid 97 I moved to the USA just outside Chicago. I stayed 12 months but moved back to Aussie land again and I'm staying put here now.
I worked for 10 yrs as Design Drafter doing workshop drawings in the air conditioning industry. Now I'm a Document Control Manager in the Gas/Oil industry, volunteer with native animal rescue and ride my motorbike round these great roads as we have so much sunshine all year round *GRIN*
I also have a 3yr old daughter called Melody who I call 'mini-me' as she looks just like me (DOB. 8-9-98)
