This was the driest April since I began recording the rainfall at this site and a mere 14% of the average April rainfall for the years 2000/2006. It may be noted that the previous driest April was that of last year, which I commented on as "An exceptionally dry April" and that month had over twice the rainfall of the present one.
Are we here seeing a trend developing? Like the now seemingly established wet Octobers.Will we now see a wet May like last year?
