NR=Not read. Therefore the readings of 18th and 26th represent totals for two days.
Another relatively dry October with just 2.1 mm less rain than October 2010 and amounting to 59.6% of the post 2000 average October rainfall. It may be noted that 89% of the month's rainfall fell in the last nine days of the month.
On 22nd the rainfall for the 12 months to that date dipped below 700 mm That's the first time rainfall for any 12 month period has been below 700 mm since I have been recording rainfall data at this site. Only just though bottoming out at 691.8 mm only to return to around 740 mm by the rain of the last week of October.
