Bridport Driving Range

The length of the Bridport driving range is about 21 metres compared to close on 20 metres for that now (1/W/05/000854) planned for Lyme Regis.

Although this one is on flat ground and offers a different perspective it cannot at all be said to "enhance the landscape". Imagine the view without the driving range. These buildings are an ugly affront to the landscape and should have no place in an AONB.

It should be noted that to the left of the driving range are five poles supporting netting. This may also be required at the practice area but obviously will be one of the many after thoughts.

Those who know this stretch of the coast, particularly that behind the camera, understand what happens once the first foothold of development has taken place.
