Reasoning and conclusions

15.39.1 I agree with the Council that Strawberry Fields is not a suitable location for built recreational facilities because it occupies a prominent and highly sensitive position within the AONB. Whilst I have sympathy with objectors who pointed to a shortage of sports and recreational facilities for Lyme Regis, this site is not within easy walk or cycle distance of much of the town, It is unnecessary to show all existing land uses on the Proposals Map.
