In the Interim News Letter reference was made to the Lyme Regis Golf Club plan for a Driving Range. As more details emerge it is apparent that this could present a serious problem in its effect on the environment We have now learned that the facility would be open to the general public and therefore will need a public car park - which would adversely affect this highly visible site.
When we have full details of the plan we will comment to WDDC and will probably cover such issues as visual impact, noise, car movements and of course any knock-on effect - remembering the threat posed by the Strawberry Fields plan
