March 18th - SOUTHERN SOFTIES SPRING WARM UP SUNDAY MARCH

April 5th & 6th - 'THE TOUR OF WALES WEEKEND 2008'. - This is it, our first big weekend away for 2008. Always a good excuse to get the bike out and definitely the way to make sure you have an exciting and active year on your bike. This is the trip where new friendships are made and plans will be hatched for 2008. As always, we'll meet up at the little Chuff on the Whitchurch Bypass, where the A495 turns off for Ellesmere, at 8.45am for a 9am departure. Then we'll take to the back roads and do some stunning little lanes heading across to arrive about 5pm at our fabulous NEW DIGS near Porthmadog. After what is always a good night, we'll take a different rout back towards the boarder in time for everyone to make it home. A great chance to get to know every one early in 2008 and meet old and new members alike......more info

May 3rd, 4th 5th & 6th - 'THE SCOTTISH HIGHLAND TOUR 2008'. - The plan is to meet up as usual North of Penrith at 08:45 prompt on Saturday morning. Away 9.00am from the only services on the A74(North bound) north of Carlisle. If you get as far as the M74 at Gretna you've gone too far. If the A74 services are shut due to the road works we will regroup at the Gretna Green services just before J21 on the M74 (ring me if you want suggestions for Friday night digs on 07768 405222). From the meeting point we'll take an interesting route up through the Scottish Borders before Crossing the Clyde around dinner time. Then it's over some stunning passes to our first Hotel overlooking the shores of Loch Fyne. After a good meal and a wee drink we'll rise the next morning to head up the West Coast via a spectacular route to Applecross. Here we will spend the next two nights giving us the opportunity to explore the North of Scotland, a trip to Skye, Cape Wrath, or Loch Ness are all within day-trip distance. Tuesday it's more gorgeous scenery as we take a different route south from Applecross eventually getting back to the Clyde before making a dash for home around mid day. This is a truly spectacular trip well worth the effort. It's always over booked and can only take a limited number due to the accommodation used. If you've done it before you know to be quick. If you’ve not done it before you should make an effort to be quicker still and secure your place on this fantastic tour. Most of the roads we use North of Glasgow are grin factor 9+.........more info SORRY FULL

May 31st to 8th June 2008 The Posh Pyrenean Cruise 2008 (The Easy Way Down!) This one is a real adventure covering nearly all of the pyres (West to East) with lots of new roads and areas to explore. To build on the success of last year again we will explored in style many of the surfaced (and some UN-surfaced) roads and passes in the stunning Pyrenees. We will again take The Easy Way Down and have some time to chill as we cruised from Portsmouth to Bilbao arriving in sunny northern Spain fresh and ready to ride the Pyrenean Ridge early Monday morning (definitely the best way to do it). We will stay in wonderful locations as we meander our way from West to East through the Pyrenees and eventually up through France via the stunning Millau Sky Bridge. A great way to do the Pyrénées and highly recommended for novice and veteran alike. Sorry people, had to cancel this one due to a lack of interest :-(
