Introduction to the BeagleboardThe Beagleboard is a new low cost and popular low power micro-computer designed for developers who want to research an open source platform. First introduced in December 2009 the current release (mid-year 2010) is the Beagleboard-xM Rev A2 System which offers complete computing on a board only 3.1" x 3.0". The board requires a separate power supply and should be installed in a suitable case for protection. The table below lists all parts and accessories required to make a complete RISC OS computer system. ![]()
