Check Out the New Steps at the Tunnel!

Thanks to the generosity of Home Guard club member Phil Catling, we now have a galvanised steel stairway leading down to the tunnel range entrance. It took Phil and his team at Toolmax General Engineering Ltd, just a few days to fabricate the staircase and it was installed on 15th December 2008.

The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and with the addition of the guardrail, the staircase looks absolutely first class. This provides us with a much safer means of access to the tunnel range, with less risk of slipping up on wet leaves on a dark night.
