Dwarves in their original habitats are peaceful, hard-working, and lead quiet lives mining minerals in the mountains. It therefore comes as a surprise to many that, on migrating to the big city, they immediately change their names to things like 'Maddog Throatripper', wield vicious axes the size of a small horse, and insist on charging at people with the intent of chopping their knees off at the slightest sniff of alcohol.
