One of the brighter trolls in Ankh-Morpork (though that isn't saying much), Crysophrase is one of the city's more notorious underground crime barons. Not a person you'd want to accuse of having 'rocks in his head.'

Detritus is a prominent troll in the Ankh-Morpork City Watch. He has a very effective method of questioning which basically goes along the lines of, "It was you wot done it", "C'mon, own up, we all saw you do it" and "It _was_ you dat did it, wasn't it?" This often ends up getting suspects to confess out of exasperation, even if they don't know what it was they were supposed to have done in the first place.
