Shiplake scored 5 points in their ODBL game at Woodstock - enough to ensure promotion to Division 2. See ODBL.

Charlotte Jacob reached the final of the OWBA unbadged competion. After a close contest she lost the final but is to be congratulated for her excellent performance.

27 July

Shiplake played Blackbird Leys, who were equal on points at the top of ODBL, at home. The result was an emphatic win for Shiplake which put Shiplake firmly at the top of Division 2 and needing just 4.5 points from their last 3 games to clinch promotion. See ODBL.

At the Oxfordshire Bowling Association AGM in December David Bullock - a Shiplake member for many years and a former club captain - was elected as OBA President for 2006. This is a great honour for the club. 2006 will be a busy year as the club will be hosting several county events.
