Shiplake Ladies were runners up in the OWBA Top Club competition..
The photo shows the team after the final held on August 21st where Shiplake lost to Thame.



Shiplake ladies - Helen Robinson, Val Beaumont and Wendy Cross won the Ellen Clarke Memorial triples competition held August 19th 2011 at Oxford City and County. Eighteen triples from all over Oxfordshire took part in this annual competition.

In 2007 Sylvia Blackmore and Val Beaumont progressed to the semi-final of the National Over 55s pairs, sponsored by Golden Charter. The photo was taken at Leamington. It shows Sylvia (right) and Val (left) with a representative of the sponsors and Ruth Howes, the EWBA President.

Several Shiplake ladies took part in the OWBA President v Senior Vice President game held in Oxford on April 30th.
