The Farm is set at the head of Sydling Valley in West Dorset within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The farm is organic and covers a number of valleys of rare chalk downland that provide the many springs that feed Sydling Brook.

We believe in traditional mixed farming, based on rotations to naturally control pests and disease, to build soil fertility and to improve soil structure.

Sheep - We have two old and hardy breeds, the local Poll Dorset, which lamb in the autumn, and the Lleyn, a Welsh lowland breed which lamb in the spring.

Cattle - Our main herd is Aberdeen Angus but we also have Longhorn. Both are traditional British breeds of docile nature that love to be out grazing.

Chickens - A small flock of slow growing birds, roaming the clover leys.

Turkeys - We raise Norfolk Blacks, a breed with a gamey flavour.

Game -The estate has plentiful venison, rabbit, duck, pheasant and partridge.

Turn east off the A37 halfway between Dorchester and Yeovil -signed for Sydling Brook and Cerne Abbas. Left turn towards the bottom of the hill before the ford.
