Trained and qualified under Vladimir Vasiliev in Toronto Canada 2000
He has trained in martial arts since 1957 and also holds a 7th Dan in Ju-jitsu and Kobudo, a 2nd Dan in Karate Do. Dave is an instructor in Tai Chi and self-defence.
Dave is the principle coach for the world Ju-jitsu federation and he holds a NVQ level 2 in coaching, training and instructing Ju-jitsu and Karate. He is a qualified NVQ assessor, internal and external verifier, and manages the NVQ centre of the world Ju-jitsu federation.
He is also a national trainer/assessor for lifesaving with the royal lifesaving society is a loy instructor in first aid at work.
Dave is a fellow of the institute of sport and recreation management, a member of the institute of leisure and amenity management, a fellow of the British association of physical training. He is also a member of Sports Coach UK and of the guild of professional practitioners.
He also has 16 years extensive experience in coaching martial arts to people with disabilities.
He was appointed as a member of the order of the British Empire (MBE) by Her Majesty the Queen in the birthday honours 1998.
Vladimir Vasiliev:-

Born in Russian, Vladimir received intense training from the top special operations unit instructed and is the top student of Mikhail Ryabko.
Vladimir's work expands across ten years of extensive military service with special operation units he also serves as a trainer for Para shooters SWAT teams and elite bodyguards.
Vladimir moved to Canada in 1993 and founded the first school of Russian martial arts outside Russia. He has since personally trained over 50 qualified Russian martial arts instructors in 7 countries.
