Lincoln Scott make replacement hoods in top quality German Mohair, using the same Mohair as in our DB and V cars (not O.E. Haartz which is an inferior hooding).

Lincoln Scott hoods are an improvement in material and fit, they are strengthened at the rear quarter light area, where holes commonly appear.

There are also a number of modifications that should be made on the cars to eliminate holes from appearing in the future (although the hooding will still crease up due to the design). These modifications are:
Change the location of the saddle end fixings
Change the position of the location finishers
Fit packing blocks in the hood well and make good the weakened hinges on the floating pillars and fit assisting spring to the same.

Lincoln Scott hoods are a standard fit and come with fittings and instructions for carrying out the modifications.

Lincoln Scott also fit their own hoods and carry out the modifications if required.
